Airth Station Cattery & Kennels is located in a peaceful country location, 2 miles from the village of Airth, which is half-way between Stirling and Falkirk.
We are also only 2 miles from motorway links to Glasgow and Edinburgh, so are easily accessible to cat and dog owners throughout Central Scotland.
The Cattery and Boarding Kennels are owned and run by Laraine Binnie whose many years of experience in caring and training of animals enables your pets to enjoy, rather than endure, their stay away from home.
We can accommodate 95 cats in the Cattery and the boarding accomodation is limited to just 10 spacious dog kennels, including two very large double pens suitable for families of larger breeds, ensuring your dog receives the maximum amount of space and comfort.
Airth Station Cattery and Kennels offers short and long term boarding facilities for your pets. This ensures that your cats or dogs need not be left at home whilst you are away on holiday or busy with business elsewhere. They are catered for in a lovely peaceful environment, whilst socialising and exercising.
Your cats and dogs should settle quickly in the relaxed atmosphere of our Cattery and Boarding Kennels. Purpose built, the boarding accommodation is spacious and comfortable, warm in winter and cool in summer.
At Airth Station Cattery & Kennels we are able to offer a collection and delivery service to suit your requirements should it be during or outwith our normal working hours.
The quality of the modern buildings, which feature underfloor heating, coupled with extensive human contact, makes your pet's time away from home a happier and more enjoyable experience. Our fully trained staff are all animal-lovers and do everything in their power to make Airth Station Cattery and Kennels a home-from-home for all of the dogs in their care. On arrival at the Cattery and Kennels, we ask all owners for details of their cat and or dogs likes and dislikes, so we can preserve elements of their daily routine and many of the comforts they
enjoy at home. Feeding, grooming and any veterinary matters are provided to the highest standard.

For most of you, looking forward to your holiday break is the highlight of the year, whether it be in the Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter.
The months of looking through brochures or even booking at the last minute can all add to the excitement.
But for many of you, that excitement can be dampened by the thought of leaving your beloved cat behind.
Having been involved in Cats, Dogs and Horses, including animal welfare work, for over 30 years and having faced the problems myself, I know exactly how you feel. So much so, I decided to open my own Cattery, offering the kind of facilities, which I demanded for my own cats.

It is essential that all the cats have current vaccination cards which must be produced at the time of boarding. It is also recommended that cats are fully wormed and treated with cat flea protection prior to boarding. Advice from your veterinary surgeon can be given at the time of inoculations.
I know how important it is that you are secure in the knowledge that you have provided for your pet with the best possible sanctuary in your absence, second only to your own home, where it will be safe, well-cared for, happy and treated as an individual. But don`t just take my word for it. I strongly encourage anyone who requires boarding for their cat to come along and view the Cattery first to discuss their particular requirements. Like humans, each cat has its own personality and if it should be rather quiet, timerous, or just a bit older,
I will ensure a Chalet is selected which will guarantee your pet is afforded the peace and quiet it deserves.
Why Not Come Along?
Viewing is strongly advised and is available during our normal working hours. Our friendly staff will be happy to show you around our premises and will be delighted to discuss any of his/her specials needs or requirements.
We also recommend any new boarders should spend at least a few hours with us before their holidays begin in order to build up a relationship with our staff and become familiar with our kennels. This is strongly advisable as it allows them to settle quicker when they eventually arrive for their holidays. There is normally no charge for this facility.
Your dog should settle quickly in the relaxed atmosphere of our kennels. Purpose built and opened in December 2007, our luxury five paw accommodation is spacious and comfortable. Warm in winter and cool in summer.
Each kennel has its own tiled and extensively shaded outdoor run and comfortable fully tiled underfloor heated sleeping quarters.
From each individual run a dog can see his neighbour helping to establish a community -feel to enjoy while away from home.
Special Needs
Dogs with special needs are catered for, including those with special dietary requirements. Puppies will, of course, receive the individual attention required, from close attention to ensuring feeding at the required regular intervals.
Each dog is exercised 6/7 times daily in our very large and secure free-running area. Even the most expert ball players are kept interested! We also have an indoor exercise area making sure on wet days everyone stays dry and comfortable.

Day Boarding
Airth Station Cattery and Kennels offer Day Boarding facilities to ensure that your dog has not been left at home alone all day for whatever reason. They are catered for in a lovely peaceful environment, socialising, exercising and playing with other breeds of dogs. Just think, you can return home from a hard days work with your dog who is equally as tired as yourself.
He has been fed and exercised which allows you to put your feet up and enjoy each others relaxed company for the rest of the evening.
He can also be collected or delivered to you for an addtional charge from our Pet Travel Service.

Our sister Dog and Cat Grooming Salon "Tangles" offers full skin and coat assessment for your dogs and cats.
Their specialist dog and cat groomers bath your pets in specialist shampoos and then thoroughly blow-dry them.
